So, what is wellness?

Wellness has been defined as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” by The World Health Organization. Wellness is multidimensional, meaning it has many different aspects and includes more than just ones physical health. These different dimensions include physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, social and environmental health.

What is training load? 

Training load is the combination of different stressors. In those stressors we can include stressors associated with your sport and training and non-sport stressors. So for example pitch sessions, games, gym work, recovery sessions, technical sessions are all classified as sport stressors. The non–sport stressors include work stress, family, relationship stress, traveling, studying etc.
